After playing a ghost in the Aranmanai series, Hansika is back as one in the horror thriller Guardian. The film is directed by Koogle Kuttappan director Sabari-Guru Saravanan and the teaser was released by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi on his social media handle. Wishing the team, the Farzi actor wrote, "Happy to share #Guardian Teaser. Congrats @vijayfilmaker & team (sic)."

Teaser of Guardian
The opening shot of the teaser depicts a ritual where a bunch of people are sitting around a black magic circle and welcoming a ghost, who is extremely powerful. Later, it is revealed that the spirit is waiting to drink the blood of many and people are asked to not venture anywhere near her. Hansika then makes an appearance in vampire-like-avatar. She is seen uttering the lines, "Even if you hide in a temple, I will kill and bury you, because the area belongs to her." It looks like there will be a lot of horror elements in the film.
