After Awarapan 2, Emraan Hashmi has come up with a new announcement, and this one has netizens just as excited. The announcement is that of Gunmaaster G9. For this announcement, Emraan has collaborated with Himesh Reshammiya. This is a duo that has given a whole generation songs to remember for a long time. From Aashiq Banaaya Aapne to Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, they have been the ultimate duo in the 2000s.

Emraan Hashmi and Himesh Reshammiya's collaboration is what netizens cannot wait for when it comes to Gunmaaster G9. The announcement video just gave a peek of what to expect from the musical side of the film, and fans are already going gaga over it.
Gunmaaster G9 was announced with a video teasing Emraan in a new avatar. He says, "Family ko touch kiya toh yaad rakhna - Dhande se doodh wala hoon, banda barood wala hoon," in the teaser video. The actor flaunts tattoos and a gun while narrating the dialogue, which leaves a major impact. The hint of Emraan-Himesh collaboration is towards the end of the announcement. Moreover, the clip does not end with only Emraan's verse. It has Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana's verse as well in three different clips.
Apart from Emraan and Himesh, Aashiq Banaya Aapne director Aditya Datt has also come together Gunmaaster G9. Speaking about the same, he said in a media statement, “When we made Aashiq Banaya Aapne, we were young, hungry, and experimental. With Gunmaaster G9, we’re still all of those things—but sharper and more evolved. It’s a full-circle moment for me.” Interestingly, Sanam Teri Kasam producer Deepak Mukut has backed the movie, and Aditya credits him for bringing the team together. This is the first film where Emraan, Genelia and Aparshakti collaborate. Given how they have worked in a different kind of cinema, it would be interesting to see what the film brings to the table.
