Actor Vijay, who is fondly known as Thalapathy, has only recently joined the next schedule of his final film, Jana Nayagan, the shooting of which is underway in Kodaikanal. In the latest news about the project, popular rapper Hanumankind has confirmed that he has performed a special rap number for the film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Actor Vijay, who announced his retirement from acting to concentrate on full-time politics, will be last seen in H Vinoth's film, Jana Nayagan. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 9, 2026, just before the elections. The shooting of the film is in progress. The new information about the film is that rapper and singer Hanumankind has performed a rap number for the film.
With music by Anirudh Ravichander, this has added a new level of excitement among fans. From cautioning theatre owners to insure their premises, to wanting to hear the song, netizens have something new to be happy about Jana Nayagan.
For those who don’t know, Hanumankind, aka Sooraj Cherukat, is a rapper of Kerala origin. His track Big Dawgs which was released in 2024, became a worldwide sensation. However, his first film song was way back in 2020, in Kannada action crime film Popcorn Monkey Tiger directed by Duniya Soori. Hanumankind sang Maadeva scored by Charan Raj. The film is available on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.

After directing Ajith in three films, H Vinoth is collaborating with Vijay for Jana Nayagan for the first time. The Nerkonda Paarvai director has not yet confirmed if the film is a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari, as speculated.
The film stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde in her second collaboration with Vijay after Beast, Narain, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, and Teejay Arunasalam, among others.
