Released as a digital single on May 22, 2020, this track stands as AgustD's most popular and most streamed solo song. Serving as the lead single from his mixtape, 'D-2', the song carries the primary aim of acting as 'a sort of trap' for his detractors, as stated by the rapper himself.

People

This song by Agust D was released on May 22, 2020, and serves as the 7th track on the mixtape 'D-2'. The distinctive song delves into reflections on one's identity and evolution from a personal (and present) perspective. Agust D through the song observes that as he changes, those around him also change, whether for better or worse.

Interlude: Shadow

Part of BTS' full-length album 'Map of the Soul: 7', this hip-hop track samples their earlier 2013 song 'Intro: O!RUL8,2?'. Through this song, Yoongi reveals his fears of concepts like loneliness and burning out at a young age. The music video depicts Yoongi constantly surrounded by people and camera flashes.

IU_ eight (Prod.&Feat. SUGA of BTS)

Released on May 6, 2020, this collaboration between soloist IU and SUGA delves into the theme of adults forgetting their past, their true selves, their dreams, and the memories of their childhood and teenage years as they become caught up with life. 

so far away (Feat. Suran)

Released on August 16, 2016, this is the 10th and final track featured on the mixtape 'Agust D'. Suga explained that the original lyrics should have been "don't fall away" instead of "don't far away". However, he only noticed the mistake after releasing the mixtape. Suga went on to correct the lyrics when he released the same song with his bandmates Jin and Jungkook.

Haegeum

Released on April 21, 2023, as part of his 3rd work and 1st full album, "D-Day", the track titled 'Haegeum' has different meanings in Korean. It refers to a traditional Korean instrument and also means - the lifting of a ban or prohibition - according to Doolset's translation. Through the song, Suga addresses the concept of liberation from what is perceived as freedom of expression. He questions the extent of true freedom within this supposed freedom of expression.

Amygdala

Another song from the 'D-Day' album, Suga explained its theme by stating, "There's a thing called an 'amygdala'. Your brain stores all of your unpleasant memories in the amygdala." True to his words, this song is emotional and references some of his traumatic memories, including his accident, his mother's heart surgery, and his father's cancer diagnosis.

HUH?! ft. J-Hope

Part of the 'D-Day' album, this song delves into Suga's frustration with people who believe they understand him thoroughly when in reality, they do not. Suga and J-Hope discuss the concept of success and its disparity from what is portrayed on the internet. The track also serves as a declaration that BTS and its members are here to stay, asserting that detractors should remain in their lane.

Strange (Feat RM)

The track, featured on 'D-2', depicts Agust D and his BTS bandmate RM embodying two contrasting perspectives within society - one reflecting those who perceive the world as strange, while the other for those who do not. From critiquing economic inequality to commenting on issues of war and peace, the song addresses topics that both artists find notably significant.
