Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu was in the making for over five years, thanks to the star hero's political assignments. The makers somehow convinced Pawan Kalyan to give dates and complete the shoot, and the film was finally released on July 24, 2025.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu falters at the box office
Despite mixed word of mouth, the film opened with decent collections on day one with close to Rs 40 crore net. The period drama failed to collect big money as the word of mouth was bad. But Hari Hara Veera Mallu managed to earn well on days three and four, as it was a weekend.
However, once the weekdays began, Hari Hara Veera Mallu made only ₹ 2.5 crore on day five. As per the trade update, Hari Hara Veera Mallu's occupancy dropped even further as the film made only ₹1.8 crore, which is shockingly low.
While some liked the film, the negative talk around its graphics overshadowed the rest of the content. The makers edited out close to 15 minutes and deleted the troll-worthy VFX parts, and a new version of the film is currently screening in theaters, but the response is not that great.

As of now, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has collected only ₹80 crore net and is almost out of theaters, especially with Vijay Deverakonda’s new film Kingdom releasing on July 31, 2025. Despite the makers' efforts to keep the film in the news, it failed to perform at the box office.
Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will stream it in the last week of August 2025. Directed by Jyothi Krishna, the film stars Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
