Harshvardhan Rane is currently basking in the glory of Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release success. The actor's debut film worked well upon its re-release after nine years. While Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release was successful, Harshvardhan's last three projects didn't perform well. His last three releases were Tara vs Bilal, The Miranda Brothers, and Dange. In an interview, Harshvardhan expressed his belief that the movies will get 'its due' over time.
In an interview with News18, Harshvardhan Rane said he knows that his films will get their due over time if they are genuinely nice. The actor believes the projects will be discovered well if they hold the power to connect with people.
"Whether it’s good or bad is something I don’t want to get into but if it has those emotions that have the power to penetrate, it will get discovered. Dange, Miranda Brothers, and Tara vs Bilal will definitely resonate since the material was good," he told the news publication.
Harshvardhan gave an example of his first Hindi film, Sanam Teri Kasam, which initially struggled at the box office. "But look where we’re today! I feel that if my work is genuinely nice, it will be discovered. If you’re a good human being, you’ll be well-taken care of," added Harshvardhan.
Following the massive success of Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release, Harshvardhan Rane announced his new film. The actor will be seen in filmmaker Milap Zaveri's Deewaniyat. It promises to be a 'soul-stirring musical story' and a tale of 'love, heartbreak and music'.
Written by Milap Zaveri and Mushtaq Shiekh, the movie will hit the big screen in 2025. The movie is being bankrolled by Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. The actor shared his film's first motion poster on his official Instagram account.
