Since the last few days, there has been a strong buzz about Bollywood's showman Subhash Ghai all set to sign a new actor in the sequel of the Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Khalnayak’. Putting all the rumours to rest, Subhash Ghai took to social media and gave an update stating, ‘As reported in section of media let me clarify that mukta arts has not signed any actor for khalnayak 2 tho we have been working on its script for last three years with no immediate plan to go on floor. As now we r celebrating 30 years of khanayak with stars on 4th sept’.
This news came as a sigh of relief to many who felt that no one can do total justice to the role of Sanjay Dutt in the cult film ‘Khalnayak’. Speaking of Sanjay Dutt, a recent report in Pinkvilla stated that he has now been signed up by filmmaker Raaj Shaandiliyaa for his next. And guess what! The report stated that, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of a casanova, who also happens to be a specialist in extra marital affairs!
The said report stated that, the said film has been modelled on the lines of ‘No Entry’, wherein the film’s premise will touch upon extramarital affairs without plunging into any sleaze. And joining Sanjay Dutt in this comic caper will be Aparshakti Khurrana. The said film will be reportedly going on floors by 2024 and will be shot in India in a tenure of around 40 days. The makers have reportedly locked the film’s title, which would be announced at the right time.
As for Raaj Shaandilyaa, his much-awaited film ‘Dream Girl 2’ has been released today. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the titular role and Ananya Panday playing the leading lady in the film.
