The movie, which is helmed by Lijin Jose, also has Lijomol Jose as part of its cast

Director Lijin Jose’s fourth venture titled Her, which has a star-studded cast featuring Parvathy Thiruvothu, Urvashi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Remya Nambeesan and Lijomol Jose, went on floors in Thiruvanathapuram on Saturday after a pooja function.
The ceremony was attended by Parvathy, G Suresh Kumar and Menaka. Her, which is scripted by Archana Vasudev, revolves around five women from different walks of life. Archana had previously written a short film titled Athmanirbhar.
The upcoming film also has Minnal Murali actor Guru Somasundaram, Rajesh Madhavan and Prathap Pothen as part of its cast. Chandru Selvaraj, who had cranked the camera for Manju Warrier’s A’hr: Kayattam, Tovino Thomas’ Vazhakku and Nivin Pauly’s time travel fantasy Mahaveeryar, is the cinematographer of Her. Editor Kiran Das and composer Govind Vasantha are also part of its crew.
Meanwhile, Lijo is also working on another movie in parallel – Roshan Mathew and Nimisha Sajayan’s Chera. The movie, which went on floors in Kottayam in February, also has Guru. Chera, scripted by Najeem Koya, has Roshan playing a paraplegic while Nimisha essays the role of a mysterious person who enters his life.
Her also marks Parvathy’s first Malayalam signing this year. The actress, who was last seen in Sanu John Varghese’s Aarkkariyam, has been busy with OTT projects this year. She is part of Vikram Kumar’s supernatural web series Dhootha. The Amazon Prime Video original will mark the Take Off actress’ web series debut and also stars Naga Chaithanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai and Tharun Bhacker.
Parvathy’s next release will be Ratheena’s thriller Puzhu, which has her sharing screen space with Mammootty for the first time. The movie, which is set to drop on Sony LIV on May 13, will mark the megastar’s OTT debut. The actress has also completed shooting for Shyamaprasad’s segment Kazhcha in Netflix’s anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s short stories.
