Here is what Ranojoy Bishnu had to say about Sohini Sarkar

Can your ex be your friend? This is surely one of the most discussed topics in Tinsel Town. Recently, many celebs showed that even after their separation, they maintain a cordial relationship. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are the latest examples who showed bonhomie after separation. Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan have also set an example of sharing cordial relationships. Ranojoy Bishnu is no different. In a recent interview, he wished his ex Sohini Sarkar well.

Sohini and Ranojoy were in a relationship and living together for years. Later, they got separated and Sohini is now dating singer Shovan Ganguly. On the other hand, there were rumors about Ranojoy's alleged relationship with his Guddi co-star Shamoupti Mudli. Now, reports say that he is seeing his Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche co-star Mishmi.

Ranojoy, in an interview with Aajkaal, said, “Sohini is in a relationship but I am single. Hence, the speculations are all about me. I never hid anything. I will tell it if anything happens in my life. My friendship with Sohini started in 2016. Our relationship started in 2019. I love her. I want from my heart that she stays happy with Shovan.”

Ranojoy reminisced about his affair with Sohini. “The relationship started strangely in Darjeeling. We met after two years in the same place and many moments were born,” he said. However, he does not believe in love at first sight. “Love is a long chapter. You may like someone at first sight. But love is born if you stay by their side, take responsibility, and spend many moments together. It is a deep relationship that will not break apart. Love does not happen if you say ‘I love you’,” he said. 

Ranojoy thinks it is natural to discuss the celebs’ personal lives. A while ago, he told Hindustan Times Bangla, “It is natural to discuss the lives of the heroes or heroines in India. It is their success. Perhaps they did the job attentively. After it ends, if people still think that the actors are in a relationship, we did the job well.” Is he single then? Ranojoy smiled, “I have been single for a long time.”
