Here's what Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed about the rumoured project with Ram Charan

It's been 50 days since Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram released, but the former still manages to hit the headlines for one reason or the other. The other day, there was fresh news about him teaming up with Salman Khan for a Hindi movie.

A couple of days ago, there were unconfirmed reports that Samantha will be seen playing the antagonist in his upcoming project Thalapathy 67 which will have Vijay playing the lead. An official announcement on the film is still awaited, though. Interestingly, at least two or three unconfirmed reports related to Lokesh do the rounds every week on social media.

Similarly, the speculation regarding Lokesh joining hands with Ram Charan grew stronger after the former met Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan at the Tollywood megastar's residence a while ago. Neither the filmmaker nor the star denied reports of them teaming up for a project.

A few sources even said that the RRR star will be featured in the much-expected Vikram 2. Now, a video of Lokesh giving a clarification to the rumoured project has been doing the rounds on Twitter. The four-film old director said that he is someone who is keen on directing all big stars and that he loves to do a film with Ram Charan.

However, Lokesh confessed that he is already busy with a few plans. He pointed out that Charan, too, has some interesting projects currently in the pipeline. Though he conveyed that their collaboration is unlikely soon, there are chances of the two doing a movie together in the near future, if things fall into place. He also added that their collaboration, if happens, will be the biggest film.

A sequel to Karthi-starrer Kaithi is likely to be Lokesh's project after he wraps up Thalapathy 67. For now, fans of Vijay are keeping their fingers crossed.
