The first look of Jiiva's next film, titled Varalaru Mukkiyam which has Santhosh Rajan at its helm, was released a few months ago. Now, the team has announced that the first single from the movie, Pothi Pothi Valatha Pulla Megala, will be unveiled tomorrow at 6 pm by Sivakarthikeyan.

A new poster has also been released along with the announcement which has Jiiva seen shaking a leg with a few others. Billed as a peppy song, the track will have popular Mollywood music director Shaan Rahman composing for it. Sakthi Saravanan has cranked the camera for the project which has editing by NB Srikanth.

Raju Sundaram and Brinda have jointly choreographed dance sequences for the movie which has action scenes helmed by R Sakthi Saravanan. Kashmira Pardeshi and Pragya Nagra play female leads in the film which is expected to release later this year.

Saranya Ponvannan, Rajendran, KS Ravikumar, VTV Ganesh and Siddique among others essay pivotal roles in Varalaru Mukkiyam which has been bankrolled by RB Choudary of Super Good Films. The movie has been shot in Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Kerala. The project is touted as a feel-good fun entertainer.

Jiiva's last outing in Tamil was Kalathil Santhippom (streaming on Zee5) which was released in 2021. However, his last appearance on silver screen was in Bollywood flick 83 (streaming on Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar). Sundar C's Coffee with Kadhal, Pa Vijay's Methavi and Pon Kumaran's Golmaal are upcoming projects he has in his kitty.

While Golmaal wrapped up its shooting a while ago, Coffee with Kadhal kicked off only recently and its title was revealed only a couple of days ago. An update on Methavi, which went on floors almost two years ago, is awaited.
