It was only a few days ago that the team of Siva's Annaatthe, starring Rajinikanth in the lead, released its much-awaited first single. Sung by the late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, the track Annaatthe Annaatthe had the Superstar, seen in a shirt and a veshti with vibhooti on his forehead, oozing swag, leaving his fans into a tizzy.
Imman's composition and Viveka's lyrics were engaging enough to hold the attention of music buffs. Fans of the star had taken to social media to express happiness on watching their matinee idol having fun in a song set in a village backdrop after a long time.

On Friday morning, Sun Pictures, the production house which is bankrolling the big budget project, took to social media to surprise one and all by announcing the arrival of second single. Titled Saara Kaattrae, which is tipped as a melody, the track which has been sung by Sid Sriram and Shreya Ghoshal, will release on Saturday at 6pm. The production house also posted a new poster of the film along with the tweet, featuring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, dressed in black outfits, sitting on a swing. The duo was last seen in Darbar, the former's last outing which released in January 2020.
Annaatthe, which is all set for a grand theatrical release on Deepavali, on November 4, is expected to take on Silambarasan's Maanaadu, Vishal-Arya's Enemy and Arun Vijay's Vaa Deal at the box office. Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Soori, Sathish, Abhimanyu Singh and George Maryan among others will play pivotal roles in the movie which has cinematography by Vetri and editing by Antony Ruben. Dhilip Subbarayan and Brindha Gopal have choreographed action and dance sequences of the movie which is Rajinikanth's 168th film.
