Here's when the teaser of Hari's Arun Vijay-starrer Yaanai will be released

It's been more than three years since director Hari's last outing has released. He's ready with his next, titled Yaanai, starring Arun Vijay in the lead. Though there are news doing the rounds that the family action drama will hit the screens in February, an official confirmation is awaited from the team.

But the makers have another update now for movie lovers. They have announced when the film's teaser is going to be unveiled. Arun himself took to his social media account to inform that the teaser will be out on December 23. He also released a new poster from the project. 

Recently, he had posted a picture of himself from the dubbing session for the film. The film brings Arun and Priya Bhavani Shankar together for the second time after Mafia (streaming on Amazon Prime Video). The young actress, too, had posted a picture of hers from the movie's dubbing session. 

Radhika Sarath Kumar, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Gangai Amaren, Ammu Abirami and Imman Annachi among others also play important roles in the movie. Anl Arasu has choreographed action scenes for Yaanai which has cinematography by Gopinath and editing by Anthony. GV Prakash has scored music for the project; this is the first time the young musician-actor has worked with Hari.

Meanwhile, Arun's Borrder, which was supposed to release in November, was postponed; the film's new release date is yet to be updated. Oh My Dog, another movie of his, which also marks his son's acting debut, was said to be a direct-to-OTT release in December. 

However, the makers are yet to announce a date. Suriya's 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd has produced the movie which will release directly on Amazon Prime Video. It is expected that the family drama will drop on the streaming platform as a New Year release.
