Etharkkum Thunindhavan, Suriya's theatrical release after two-and-a-half year hiatus, is hitting the screens on March 10. A few days ago, the makers had released a still of the actor dubbing for the movie's Telugu version. Billed as a family drama, the film will release in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi as well, along with the Tamil version.
Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the movie, has now come up with an update on its teaser release. The much-awaited teaser of the film will be released at 6 pm on February 18. They also posted a new poster of the movie along with the announcement. Suriya is seen clad in a black and white attire, searching for someone in a dilapidated building, in the poster.
Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead in Etharkkum Thunindhavan which has Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Vinay Rai, Soori and MS Bhaskar among others playing pivotal roles. Imman has scored music for the film, and three songs from it have already been released so far.
Rathnavelu and Antony L Ruben have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie. Pandiraj's last outing was Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Namma Veettu Pillai (streaming on Jio Cinema and MX Player).
Suriya, who was previously seen in the critically acclaimed direct-to-OTT release Jai Bhim (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), will next be seen in Vetrimaaran's ambitious project Vaadivaasal. His production venture, Oh My Dog, which has Arun Vijay and his son playing lead roles, is expected to drop on Amazon Prime Video soon.
The movie which revolves around father-son bond was slated for a December release earlier. According to sources, the makers are eying a March release for the film which has been directed by Sarov Shanmugam.
