Here's when the trailer of SJ Suryah's Kadamaiyai Sei will be released by Silambarasan

The shooting of Venkat Raghavan's Kadamaiyai Sei was wrapped up long ago. SJ Suryah and Yashika Anand play lead roles in the film, the first look of which was unveiled a few months ago by Sivakarthikeyan. A few days ago, the makers released a new poster of the movie.

The team has now announced that its trailer will be released by Silambarasan. Suryah and Silambarasan were last seen together in Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu (streaming on SonyLIV) which went on to become a blockbuster. The project has music composed by Thadam fame Arun Raj and cinematography by Vinoth Rathnasamy.

Charles Vinoth, Rajendran, Vincent Asokan and Rajasimman among others essay crucial roles in the film which has been produced by Ganesh Entertainment in association with Nahar Films. Though there were reports earlier that the movie will release in May, the makers are yet to come up with an official release date.

NB Srikanth has edited the film which has Suryah playing the role of an apartment security. The movie's plot revolves around an incident which happens in his life that leaves him stunned. How he comes out of it forms the rest of the story.

Suryah, who has a few films lined up in his kitty, will next be seen in Don which is releasing on May 13. He is essaying the role of a corrupt college professor in the film. Bommai with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Mark Antony with Vishal, Uyarndha Manithan with Amitabh Bachchan and Iravaakaalam with Wamiqa Gabbi and Shivada Nair are other projects he has pinned hopes on.

There were reports on the makers of Uyarndha Manithan dropping the project, however, the actor-filmmaker had clarified that the movie is still on, and that an update regarding its release will be announced soon.
