Here's when Uruttu, the third single of Enna Solla Pogirai, starring Ashwin, Teju and Avantika, will be out

The first and second singles of Enna Solla Pogirai, Aasai and Cute Ponnu respectively, were unveiled a while ago. The makers have now announced that they will be releasing the third single, Uruttu, on December 2. The rom-com marks the debut of reality show Cooku With Comali fame Ashwin Kumar, who went on to garner a huge fan base among youngsters. 

Teju Ashwini and Avantika Mishra are playing female leads in the film which has songs composed by Vivek and Mervin. Richard M Nathan has cranked the camera for the movie which has editing by G Durairaj.    

The project, when announced earlier this year, left movie buffs surprised as Ashwin Kumar and his co-contestant Pugazh from the reality show were roped in first to play the lead and supporting character respectively in it. The shooting of the film had to postpone for a few months owing to the second wave of COVID-19.

The title of the project was what piqued the curiousity of movie buffs ever since its announcement as it is a popular line from the song of the same name from Rajiv Menon's multi-starrer flick Kandukondain Kandukondain (streaming on YouTube). 

The director Hariharan had earlier said that he is a big fan of the song and its lyrics from the movie, and that it is the relevance of the particular line which made him come up with it as the movie's title. 

According to him, Enna Solla Pogirai is a musical film which will make the audience remind of yesteryear hit Tamil movies like Minsara Kanavu (streaming on Netflix) and Minnale (streaming on YouTube).
