The feisty actress Sonakshi Sinha, who made her OTT debut with ‘Dahaad’ is busy receiving all the accolades that has been coming her way ever since the time the series got released. The series sees her playing a supercop. And with Sonakshi Sinha at the helm of things, perfection becomes a necessity for her. It's being reported that, after having mastered the skill cycling, she became so proficient that, even the series’ director Reema Kagti was left super impressed by the same.

Spekaing about ‘Dahaad’ in an interview with the international ‘Variety’, Sonakshi Sinha said “It’s really feeling like my actual debut all over again, because it was such unknown territory that I was stepping into. My father is an actor, but that was a world that I was always away from growing up. So it felt very new and exciting. And I’m getting the exact same feeling right now when ‘Dahaad’ is right around the corner, up for release”.

She added that the most challenging aspect of the role was actually to keep it as real as possible. She reasoned it stating, coming from the school of cinema that she had been a part of for so many years, there have had been times where there have been a few realistic roles in commercial masala potboilers, wherein they expect a certain different kind of acting. She also went onto add that it was challenging for her to keep it as real as possible because of the nature of the show and of all the characters in the show, and also the realistic way in which it was written. That’s why, she explained that she tried not to make it ‘filmi’ in any way and to keep it very straightforward, very neutral and very real.

Besides Sonakshi Sinha, ‘Dahaad’ also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in important roles.
