Hey Balwanth OTT release date: When, where to watch Suhas' Telugu comedy film online

The 2026 Telugu film Hey Balwanth, starring actor Suhas, is gearing up for its digital debut. The comedy drama film, directed by Gopi Atchara, will drop on Zee5 on March 31. Shivani Nagaram of Little Hearts fame plays the female lead in the Suhas film.

Where to watch Hey Balwanth online

Hey Balwanth, which hit theatres on February 20, 2026, will make its OTT premiere a little over a month after its theatrical release. The Telugu film, which explores father-son relationship, will be available for streaming in its original language on Zee5 from March 31, next Tuesday. Currently, no other Telugu film is scheduled for its digital debut on the date.

The Suhas-led film had opened to mixed reviews, and had a dull box office run. But the Telugu film is expected to find takers in the digital space.

What is Hey Balwanth movie about

The film revolves around the youth named Krishna, who aspires to take over his family business even though his father keeps him away from it. But when Krishna gets a whiff of what is really happening in the name of business, he seeks to bring an end to it. Adding more drama, his girlfriend also gets involved and Krishna now needs to set things right.

Apart from Suhas in the lead role, the film also features Shivani Nagaram, and Naresh. Vennela Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Sudharshan and Harsha Vardhan are also part of the cast.

Gopi Atchara, the writer of the popular film Ambajipeta Marriage Band, made his directorial debut with Hey Balwanth. Ambajipeta Marriage Band also starred Suhas.

The Suhas film was earlier titled Hey Bhagawan and had to change the title to Hey Balwanth after the Censor Board raised objections to it. Suhas is known for his popular films such as Colour Photo, and Prasanna Vadanam.
