Hey Balwanth is a comedy caper based on the story of a young man who dreams of starting his own business. However, destiny intervenes, and he is forced to join his father's business—one that cannot be openly discussed. What exactly is this business? How does it obstruct the love story of the lead pair? And how does Suhas handle this crazy situation? These questions form the crux of the story.

Runtime and Censor Details

For the first time in his career, a Suhas film has been awarded an A certificate by the censors. The makers are reportedly disappointed, stating that they had hoped for at least a U/A certificate. Sources say the rating is due to the nature of the father’s business portrayed in the film. The runtime has been locked at two hours and fourteen minutes, making it crisp and engaging.

OTT Platform

Most of Suhas’s films are streaming on OTTplay Premium, and Hey Balwanth will follow suit. ZEE5 has bagged the digital rights for a fancy price. The film is expected to stream in the second week of March 2026.

The promos have generated good buzz, and the makers have carefully maintained secrecy around the hero’s business, which forms the central conflict. Now, it remains to be seen whether Hey Balwanth lives up to the hype.
