Shahid Kapoor is one of those actors who has actually gone bald onscreen. The actor had shaved off his head for his award-winning role in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider. He was praised for this huge step, and now Shahid has gone back to those days. Yes, the actor debuted his new cropped hairdo, leaving the Internet in meltdown. He took to his social media pages and shared a few photos from his recent photoshoot.

Striking a new hairdo

In the photos, Shahid is sporting a handsome look, wearing a powder blue shirt and brown suit. The actor completed his look with black suede boots. Along with the cropped hairdo, he also opted for a heavy stubbled look.

While sharing the photos, Shahid wrote on his Instagram page, "Hi there."

Wife's sweet reaction

Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, left a "hot" comment on his post, and many of his fans definitely agreed with her.

Talking about Haider, the film was an adaptation of the Shakespearean tragedy Hamlet and also featured Tabu and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Upcoming projects

Meanwhile, it seems like Shahid's latest look for his upcoming film, directed by Rosshan Anddrews, is an action flick. There are reports that the film is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film, Mumbai Police.

However, the actor will next be seen in a sci-fi romantic film opposite Kriti Sanon. The film is set for a December 2023 release. Dharmendra plays a crucial role in the movie, which is also Amit Joshi's directorial debut.

Successful 2023

Shahid had a very exciting 2023 as he made his OTT debut with the Raj and DK-created Prime Video series Farzi. The series is one of the most-watched series on the OTT platform. Soon after that, the actor's action flick, Bloody Daddy, made its way to JioCinema. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial was a success among viewers and critics.
