Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed Animal (Hindi - December 1) and Nani’s Hi Nanna (Telugu - December 7) are two of the most awaited films set for a release in December. Both the films will release in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil globally. Ahead of their film release, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Nani have come together for a surprise promotional interview this week.

The promo of their interaction was unveiled today. Film buffs will get a chance to understand what went into the making of Hi Nanna and Animal over a heartfelt chat. While Nani remains tightlipped about Hi Nanna’s premise, Sandeep reveals that Animal was made in over one and a half years. The childhood portions of Ranbir Kapoor in the film were reportedly written 4-5 years ago.

In the brief glimpse of the interview, Nani and Sandeep also discuss the runtime of their respective films. When Sandeep asks about the duration of Hi Nanna, Nani responds, ‘It’s an hour lesser than yours’. While Animal has a duration of over 200 minutes, Hi Nanna is expected to be anywhere between 140-145 minutes, going by their interaction.

The ‘Animal’ director shares that he edited 8 minutes from the film for over two days with great difficulty. “I wish I had at least one more month for its release,” Sandeep shares, on a lighthearted note. After watching Animal on December 1, Nani promised to call Sandeep to share his opinion. Both the films are carrying good buzz and are expected to open well at the box office.

Hi Nanna, directed by Shouryuv, also stars Baby Kiara Khanna, Shruti Haasan, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Priyadarshi and Jayaram. Animal is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri. While Nani will next be seen in Saripodha Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will direct Prabhas in a cop drama Spirit in 2024.
