Hina Khan starrer Soulmate is a dark, riveting tale about human emotions

The makers of the Hina Khan starrer short film Soulmate have released its poster and teaser. Directed by Pawan Ssharma, Soulmate is a highly anticipated film that is set to make its world premiere on Eros Now on September 29. This dark gothic tale delves deep into web of human desires, obsessions, and the supernatural with captivating performances that are sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

The poster of the film features Hina, giving a glimpse into the haunted visuals and the dark storytelling of the film revolving three characters: Aditi, Abhishek and Kanika.

Twists and turns in the film

In addition to Hina Khan, the film features Madhurima Roy and Vivan Bathena in lead roles. Madhurima plays the role of Aditi Roy yearning for love and attention from her partner, Abhishek Malhotra, played by Vivan. The twist in the plot is Abhishek’s existing marriage with Kanika. In her desperate quest to win Abhishek over, Aditi indulges in supernatural activities and the consequences of those rituals form the storyline of the plot.

Hina Khan, reflecting on her role, said that the film challenged her as an artist to explore the depths of human emotions. “Kanika's journey is both haunting and tragic, and it was a privilege to bring her story to life,” she added. The actress plays the role of Kanika Malhotra, Vivan’s wife in the film.

Speaking about the film, Vikram Tanna, CEO, Eros Now & Mzaalo said that with Soulmate their goal is to offer viewers an experience that includes not just a compelling film but also the opportunity to engage with their favourite stars in ways they've never experienced before. This psychological thriller by Pawan Ssharma is set to release on September 29, promising an intriguing cinematic experience.
