Musician-turned-actor Hiphop Tamizha Adhi had announced his association with producer Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International recently. Karthik Venugopalan of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja fame was brought on board to helm the project. It was revealed earlier that the actor will be essaying the role of a physical education teacher in it.

The makers have now unveiled its title and first look poster. PT Sir is the title the team has chosen for the film and the poster has an aggressive Adhi holding a cricket ball, basketball and football in his hands in the backdrop of a stadium. Kashmira Pardeshi will be seen playing the female lead.  

Tipped as a fun-filled drama, Madhesh Manickam and GK Prasanna are handling cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which has music composed by Adhi himself. The film's story revolves around a young teacher who attempts to introduce unique physical activities to school children. 

The various challenges he faces while executing the same forms the rest of the story. The project is expected to be different from the ones Adhi has acted till date. His next outing is Veeran which has been helmed by ARK Saravanan. The big budget film was wrapped up a while ago, and will be released this year.

Veeran marks Adhi's third collaboration with Sathya Jytohi Films after Sivakumarin Sabadham and Anbarivu. The latter celebrated one year of its release recently. The film which had the actor playing dual roles for the first time had a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar.

Akhil Akkineni's Tollywood film Agent is Adhi's next awaited movie as a composer. The action thriller was initially planned as a theatrical release this January.
