Nani turned producer with Awe, a film that introduced director Prasanth Varma. He later backed the HIT franchise, which has already seen two successful installments featuring Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh. Now, the much-awaited third part, HIT 3, is set to hit the screens on May 1, 2025.

On the occasion of Nani's birthday, the makers unveiled the teaser, and it looks absolutely brutal. Nani stuns audiences with his shocking transformation, portraying a ruthless cop who shows no mercy to criminals. Set against the chilling backdrop of Kashmir, the film follows Arjun Sarkaar (played by Nani), a fierce and unrelenting officer summoned to hunt down a serial killer.

This is the first time Nani has been seen in such an aggressive and intense avatar. To establish his character, director Sailesh Kolanu has even made Nani deliver a few curse words, emphasizing his tough, no-nonsense approach. A particularly gripping scene in the teaser shows Nani brutally splitting open a goon’s body, pushing the boundaries of action in the franchise. Unlike its predecessors, HIT 3 places more emphasis on Nani’s character than the core investigation, making it a deeply personal and gripping thriller.

Sailesh Kolanu has undeniably elevated the franchise with HIT 3, presenting Nani in a never-before-seen light. From playing boy-next-door roles to essaying a cop with dark undertones, Nani continues to prove his versatility. His transformation, intense screen presence, and commitment to challenging roles set him apart.

Another major highlight is Micky J Meyer’s electrifying background score, which amplifies the tension and enhances the action sequences. Cinematographer Sanu Varghese’s arresting visuals further elevate the film’s atmosphere, giving the thriller a unique, cinematic appeal.

In every HIT film, a prominent actor plays the antagonist, and in HIT 3, speculation is rife that Adivi Sesh will return in a key role. Whether he will be the villain or an extension of his HIT 2 character remains to be seen.
