Homestay Murders first look: Sohini Sarkar, Saurav Das, Arjun Chakrabarty, and Parno Mittra, get into a murder mystery

OTTplay first reported that Sohini Sarkar and Saurav Das will feature in Sayantan Ghosal’s next Hoichoi web series. The team started shooting in North Bengal. Now, the first-look of the characters is revealed. Along with Sohini and Saurav, the show, titled Homestay Murders, also features Sobuj Bardhan, Debchandrima, Arjun Chakrabarty, Parno Mittra, Aparajita Ghosh Das, and Juddhajit.

Billed as a thriller, the show delves into the lives of guests trapped in a homestay in a secluded place during a vacation. According to the makers, the story then focuses on this group of strangers confronting their secrets and motives when one of them is murdered. One of them emerges as an IPS officer and he tries to unravel the truth before the killer strikes again. The police couldn’t reach the place because of bad weather in the hills. According to the makers, it’s a story of murders, mystery, revenge, and twists at every moment. Finally, it boils down to the question: Who will solve the murder?

This is not the first time Sohini is working with Sayantan. She plays the lead in his Sampurna – a Hoichoi web series that was lauded by critics and viewers alike. The show that what released last year has been renewed by the platform for a second season. Along with Sohini, the show also features Rajnandini Paul, Arijita Mukhopadhyay, and others. 

Meanwhile, Saurav is also a regular on Hoichoi as Montu Pilot. Arjun will be seen on Hoichoi after Anjan Dutt’s Murder By The Sea – another thriller.
