Mohanlal's another highly-anticipated film, Hridayapoorvam, is all set to hit the big screen soon. A middle-aged bachelor named Sandeep, who recently received a heart transplant, goes to Pune to attend his donor's daughter Haritha's engagement. On the same day that her engagement is called off, Sandeep suffers a back injury that compels him to spend a few weeks at their house in Pune. His donor was an enthusiastic army officer. The main focus of the film is the humourous fallout from this. This film, which has a U/A certification, spans two hours and fifty-one minutes.

The main reason Malayalis are excited to see Hridayapoorvam is because it revives the much-loved collaboration between Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad. Together, they have brought out a number of box office successes in the past, which are still beloved by audiences.
