Hrithik Roshan's first look from Vikram Vedha revealed, looks gritty as Vedha

Hrithik Roshan is celebrating his 48th birthday today and his fans have an exciting present from the makers of the star's upcoming project. Makers of the neo-noir thriller Vikram Vedha have revealed his first look from the film. 

T-Series and Reliance Entertainment, who are the makers of the project released the picture today, and fans of the actor finally get to see him in his latest avatar. The picture has Roshan looking bloody and dirty, in a ragged beard and sunglasses.

Vikram Vedha is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil neo-noir thriller of the same name and the picture reminds audiences of Vijay Sethupathi's Vedha from the Tamil original. Pushkar and Gayathri, who caught the attention of the South Indian audience with the Tamil film, are returning as directors for the Hindi remake. 

Apart from Roshan, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in leading roles. Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production.

The Tamil film was headed by R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the action thriller is inspired by the Indian folktale Baital Pachisi. It tells an engaging story of a police officer set on cleaning out the streets of crime, who comes face to face with a brutal gangster who gives himself up to the cops. When the two start talking and sharing stories, some secrets start to unravel. 

Hrithik Roshan will essay the role played by Sethupathi, of the gangster and Saif Ali Khan will play the police officer who plays by his own rules. The film is slated to release worldwide on September 30, 2022.
