Hunt OTT release date: When and where to watch Bhavana's horror thriller online

Malayalam film, Hunt, starring Bhavana in the lead role, will be streaming online soon. The horror thriller, which is directed by Shaji Kailas, will be available on Manorama Max from May 23.

Hunt, which hit the big screen in August last year, did not fare well in theatre due to mixed response. However, Bhavana's performance was praised by many. It was earlier reported that Manorama Max had bagged the digital streaming rights of the movie. However, it has now been confirmed that it will be available to watch on the platform on May 23 from 12 am. Meanwhile, other Malayalam films which is set to release on OTT this month includes Maranamass and Ouseppinte Osiyathu. Another recent film, Bromance, began streaming on Sony LIV from May 1.

Hunt garnered mixed reviews

According to OTTplay's review, Hunt is worth seeing for people who like to occasionally see a horror thriller, even though it might not have all the gripping components that viewers would expect from a Shaji Kailas directorial. Shaji Kailas is an impressive filmmaker whose films are being re-watched due to their compelling storylines and powerful performances. The King, Narasimham, Chinthamani Kolacase, and Red Chillies are among the director's well-known works.

The main character of Hunt is Dr Keerthy, a postgraduate medical student studying forensics, who works on a case involving a woman who was murdered years ago. However, as strange things begin to happen to her, she begins to question her great faith in science and, via strange circumstances, learns that she is linked to the victim. While investigating, Keerthy meets the victim's acquaintances and discovers a shocking array of information. How she is related to the victim and the story behind the murder are the main plot points of the movie.
