Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu release date: When and where to watch the Sushanth starrer on OTT

Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu, the action thriller directed by debutant S Darshan, starring Sushanth, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vennela Kishore, Venkat, Priyadarshi and Abhinav Gomatam in lead roles, opened to mixed responses from critics and audiences with its theatrical release on August 27. The film is gearing up for its worldwide digital premiere on the Telugu OTT platform on September 17. The premise is an unusual mix of dark humour, romance, thrills, crime and action aplenty.

The Sushanth starrer is a story of mistaken identity, where the protagonist Arun, who works at an architecture firm, is believed to be a petty robber and a murderer when he enters a wrong house while trying to surprise his girlfriend Meenu, an intern at his workplace. Arun is desperate to prove his innocence but it turns out to be too late when the ruffians in the locality block Arun's exit route from multiple ends. The criminal, meanwhile, is at large. The film revolves around Arun's attempts to flee the crime scene and head back to safety.

One of the film's producers, Aditya Shastri, is in fact the grandson of the legendary actress, writer and filmmaker Bhanumathi Ramakrishna. Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu has a young technical team in place, with cinematographer M Sukumar, editor Garry BH in addition to Praveen Lakkaraju as the composer. Some of the film's more popular songs include Hey Manasendukila, Nee Valle Nee Valle and Basthi Pogaru. The film's supporting cast also comprises Ravi Varma, Aishwarya, Harish Koyalagundla. The lead actress, Meenakshi Chaudhary's upcoming releases are Adivi Sesh-starrer HIT 2 and Ravi Teja's mass entertainer Khiladi.
