The wait is nearing an end. The movie directed by hitmaker Seenu Ramasamy and actor-turned-singer G.V.Prakash Kumar has completed its shoot. The shoot was completed hastily in 50 days due to the team’s commitment to the fight against the raging pandemic in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil movie is set to be an action-suspense thriller, set in a rural backdrop. Seenu Ramasamy was all praise for the young star in the tweet he posted today. The veteran director claimed that the performance in Idimuzhakkam will gain the actor many awards.

G.V. Prakash Kumar also expressed his gratitude towards the director in his own Twitter handle. He thanked the director for his brotherly love and advice. Seenu Ramasamy also fondly named the young star Vettri Thamizhan or Winning Thamizhan. The actor was earlier called Isai Asuran, as a credit for his background score in the National Award-winning movie Asuran starring Dhanush.

Seenu Ramasamy is known for taking taboo subjects and subtly presenting them. He is known for movies like Dharma Durai, Koodal Naar and Neerparavai. The director is now waiting for the release of his Vijay Sethupathi starring movie Maamanithan, which got delayed due to the COVID-19.
