The 54th International Film Festival of India, popular as IFFI, opened up with a star-studded guest list. From the glamorous divas and handsome hunks to acclaimed producers/directors of the Indian film industry, the opening ceremony was a star-studded affair in Goa. Producer Nikhil Nanda, iconic actors Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sunny Deol, and filmmaker Karan Johar were clicked gracing the event.

Sukhwinder Singh wins hearts with his musical performance

In the opening ceremony, Sukhwinder Singh won millions of hearts with his soulful, musical performance today. The stage was lit on fire as the man with a golden voice sang a mesmerizing track from Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming movie, Ae Watan Mere Watan.

The 52-year-old playback singer performed live on the powerful, patriotic track called Qatra Qatra from Karan Johar's upcoming film that stars Bollywood charismatic actress Sara Ali Khan in the leading role as a freedom fighter.

The Jai Ho singer wore a black sherwani and added the patriotic touch with an orange dupatta.

Ae Watan Mere Watan unveils new poster

The star-studded event took place at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa's capital, Panaji. Actress Madhuri Dixit also lit the stage with her charisma as she performed an energetic dance in the opening ceremony.

In a social media post, Amazon Prime's new project team, Ae Watan Mere Watan led by Sara Ali Khan and produced by Karan Johar, also revealed a new look and unseen video clip introducing the determined freedom fighter.

While Karan Johar opted for an all-black ensemble for the event, Sara Ali Khan was dressed up in a pink and white floral lehenga. She also spoke about her upcoming film, alongside Karan Johar.

The event became more special as it unveiled new teaser posters from awaited films like Sara Ali Khan's Ae Watan Mere Watan and Pankaj Tripathi's Kadak Singh.
