One of the prime attractions movie buffs came across in Rajamouli's multi-starrer blockbuster RRR was the superbly choreographed song Naatu Naatu. The energy level of Jr NTR and Ram Charan and their chemistry were unanimously praised by one and all.

The fast-paced song composed by Keeravani garnered attention from audiences in Japan and US as well when the movie was screened there multiple times. Now, the song which has been one of the most celebrated tracks of 2022, has gained global recognition. The makers officially informed everyone that it has bagged the prestigious Golden Globe Award.

The video of Rajamouli celebrating the occasion along with his lead actors and Keeravani's speech have been doing the rounds on social media. The team, especially the veteran music composer, has been receiving appreciation from several quarters ever since the news is out.

Many filmmakers, actors and composers from different film industries are expressing happiness over the rare feat which team RRR has achieved. Keeravani has been responding to almost every message he has been receiving from the morning. None other music maestro Ilaiyaraaja is the latest to congratulate the team. The legendary musician took to his Twitter page to convey his wishes.

He tweeted, ".@mmkeeravaani @ssrajamouli @RRRMovie for all your hard work, well deserved win.. am very happy.. congratulations (sic)." An elated Keeravani thanked him profusely and went on to say that the former has been his inspiration. He replied, "Thanks a million Sir. You have always been our inspiration (sic)."

Keeravani has expressed his admiration for Ilaiyaraaja several times in the past. In 2021, the former had posted a selfie in front of the latter's new studio in Chennai, leaving fans of both the musicians excited.
