It was earlier announced that the second season of one of the most enthralling legal drama web series, Illegal has been renewed. The makers have now dropped the official trailer of its season 2 starring Neha Sharma and Piyush Mishra at loggerheads.

Returning to her lawyer persona of Niharika Singh, Neha Sharma can be seen battling with her mentor-turned nemesis Janardhan Jaitley (played by Piyush Mishra). Known for being the ‘mad lawyer’, Neha Sharma will now be seen going out of her way to make her arch-rival feel powerless and defeat him. Several challenges are posed in their battle between the two parties which promises us a rollercoaster of legal games, brewing into a full-blown war. Guess we have to wait till November 25 to uncover the outcome of their battle.

Talking about the character of Piyush Mishra, Janardhan Jaitley will now try to contend with the mad lawyer in a pivotal case that will decide his fate of becoming the Chief Minister. He is bound to not go down without posing a multitude of problems in the way for Niharika (Neha Sharma) and her newly opened law firm.

Helmed by Ashwini Chaudhary, Illegal 2 has been scripted by Aparna Nadig for the story of Abhijeet Deshpande and Advaita Kala’s screenplay. To keep the legal drama more engaging, Salim-Sulaiman’s background score and the title track have come into play. We will also get to see the camera magic of Santosh Thundiyil while witnessing the legal battle of both lawyers.

Don’t forget to catch the second season of Illegal on Voot Select on November 25 and let us know your views.
