Imran Khan (Aamir Khan's nephew) made his Bollywood debut with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na in 2008. He went on to star in several Hindi movies including filmmaker Punit Malhotra's 2010 film, I Hate Luv Storys. The actor shared screen space with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja in the romantic comedy. In a recent appearance on a podcast, Imran revealed how producer Karan Johar decided to revamp his image before I Hate Luv Storys was theatrically.

On the Moments of Silence podcast, Imran Khan was shown his old photoshoot where Karan Johar wanted him to look effortlessly s**y for I Hate Luv Storys. The actor said, "Karan kind of decided to sex-up my image. I generally do not gain much weight, but I was minding my diet and exercising and all of that for the film particularly. Karan said we are going to cash in on this. We did a lot of… kind of topless shoots."

Back in 2010, Imran revealed why Karan was particular about his look in Malhotra's I Hate Luv Storys. The actor shared that his character was that of a 'womaniser' and that's why KJo wanted his look to have a 's**y edge. "He said at any point the clothes should fit me in a certain way and I should have the look of a guy who is effortlessly sexy," shared Imran.

Imran Khan's work front

On the work front, Imran Khan has been away from movies for a decade now. The actor's last theatrical release was Katti Batti in 2015. Khan worked with Kangana Ranaut in the film. Imran quit the industry that year. However, he is ready to make his much-awaited comeback to films. While he hasn't announced his new film yet, it's been reported that he will star in a Netflix film by Danish Khan.

Some of Imran's Hindi films include Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhann, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Break Ke Baad, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Luck, Kidnap and more.
