IND vs AUS 1st Test Live: 91 all out, India take 1-0 lead in the series as they win by an innings and 132 runs

Boland takes a review but the length ball bends in as Shami finds reverse again. Boland is beaten on the inside edge and the ball smashes him on the pad. The decision stays with umpire's call.

Australia have been absolutely hammered in Nagpur as they are 91 all out.

It was a clean bowled, and it looked like India won getting the Aussies 88 all out. However, Jadeja bowls a no ball and it saves Smith.

Smith played for some turn but he left a bit of gap between bat and pad and the ball passed through it to crash into middle and leg. But Jadeja overstepped, giving the Australian just a flicker of hope.

Shami bowls full, fast and speared it in. Lyon, who looked to drive got beaten by a bit of reverse as the stumps rattled leaving Australia nine down.

This is the first wicket of the match for Axar Patel. Murphy looked to flick the ball, however, he ended up chipping it to short midwicket.

7 wickets down and the two Indian spinners are not lettling the Aussies even settle. Cummins came forward to defend, but the ball turns to take a faint edge to the keeper.

Tries the reverse-sweep but misses it. Carey is given an out but he goes for a review. The impact is in line of off stump and it's sliding through to take out middle. 

Ashwin claims his 31st five-for in just his 10th over.

Ashwin makes a confident appeal and despite being given not-out, India go for a review. It shows no bat involved and on ball-tracking, it is three reds as the ball smashes the top of leg stump.

Ashwin gets his 3rd wicket. Renshaw totally missed the ball and with the impact in line with off stump, it looked plumb real time. 

Umpire Richard Illingworth quickly raised the finger and despite going for a review, it went in favour of India. Australia four down.

Warner looks dejected after he was given an out. He went for a review but is even more gutted after seeing the yellow on ump's call.

11th time Warner has been dismissed by Ashwin in Tests - the joint most Ashwin has dismissed a batter alongside Ben Stokes.

Jadeja and Marnus Labuschagne both knew it is a wicket as soon as the ball hit the pad.

Ashwin teased Khawaja to go for the drive and the batter thought he could have another drive, however, that was the trap as the ball gets the outside edge and goes straight to Virat at slip.

The visitors managed to nip out Ravindra Jadeja early, however, Axar Patel was still at the crease and was joine dby Shami. 

Axar and Shami stitched a half-century partnership with the latter stricking three sixes off Murphy. However, his explosive innings was put to an end by the debutant. 

Axar Patel batted superbly and recorded his highest Test score taking India's score to 400. 

India lead by 223 runs

The delivery was full in length and Axar was early to swing across the line. It beats the outside edge and just kisses the off-stump as the bails comes off.

Seventh wicket for Murphy, surely a dream debut! This time, he gets Shami. The Indian batter got down on one leg to slogsweep but the ball balloons up off the top-edge and Carey runs back and to his left to hold onto the catch.

Jadeja looked to leave again, however, the ball crashes into off stump! It is Murphy's sixth wicket. A brilliant partnership comes to an end.

Day 2: Stumps - India lead by 144 runs

Second Test fifty for Axar Patel and it has come at a crucial time. 

He raises the bat to acknowledge the applause from his teammates and the crowd.

The sword celebration is out as Jadeja with a run, reaches his half-century.

The roar gets even louder and it is needed as the all-rounder makes the perfect comeback to Test cricket.

The decision was not out, but Australia took the review. Bharat lunges forward in defence but is beaten on the inside edge. He gets struck on the front pad and review shows it is pitched in line. 

Murphy has a five-for on debut and Australia have gone upped their game after tea.

Big wicket as skipper Rohit Sharma departs. After being dropped by Steve Smith on the previous delivery, this time Cummins made no mistake.

The Aussie captain sent back Rohit on the very next ball and his ball literally demolished the off stump.

With a 4, skipper Rohit Sharma reaches his Test 100. With a smile, he raised the bat to his teammates and the crowd. 

Nathan Lyon gets the better of Suryakumar Yadav as the batter is Bowled!! SKY was on the front foot attempting a massive cover drive. However, the ball really gripped the surface and hit the bails.

Not the start India were expecting after lunch. What a debut Todd Murphy is having.

The lack of bounce saw Kohli could not control the shot and Carey did well to stay low and grab it. Kohli drags himself off in disbelief.

Pujara has given it away. He looked to put it away with the sweep, however, he gets a top-edge that balloons to short fine for an easy catch.

It looked close, but the umpire did not give a verdict. But the Aussies were confident.

They take the review and ball-tracking shows it would've crashed into leg stump. 

Murphy comes up with the breakthrough for Australia again and gets his second wicket.

Lost the wicket of KL Rahul, and India sent in R Ashwin as the nightwatchman when 7 balls were left for the day. 

On Stumps of Day 1, India trail by 100 runs after restriciting the Aussies to 177.

Rohit Sharma has smashes his half-ton and scored (56* off 69 balls). 

In need of a wicket and debutant Todd Murphy gets it for the Aussies. Rahul chipped the ball straight back to the bowler and he got his first Test wicket!

The captain has led from the front! With a four, he reaches his half-century. 

He has been attacking from ball one and continues to do so as KL Rahul takes his time to score.

With the assistance of R Ashwin's three-wicket haul and Ravindra Jadeja's fifer, India were able to limit Australia to only 177 runs on Day 1. Siraj and Shami kicked off the game by taking early wickets.

Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith helped the ship remain in balance with a half-century stand and both appeared content at the crease, but Jadeja eventually ordered them to return.

Ashwin bowls the carrom ball and Boland doesn't pick it. The ball pitches around middle and spins away and crashes into the off-stump. Third wicket for Ashwin.

Its a fifer for Ravindra Jadeja! Full, quick and on the stumps, Handscomb tried to move across and gets low to sweep, however, he missed it and the ball lands on the front pad adjacent to the sticks. 

Review taken and it shows no bat, ball-tracking shows three reds.

Debutant Todd Murphy hardly got time to settle. He went searching for the ball and this one spun back in. It missed the inside edge and hit the pad right in front of middle stump. Went for a review, but it was in favour of India.

Surely a massive blow for the Aussies as Smith looks distraught as he walks back.

Jadeja has two in two. Renshaw tried to flick it away but is beaten by the turn and the ball struck on the pad. 

Umpire Nitin Menon's finger went up immediately but Renshaw took the review. The showed the ball just clipping leg stump and it stayed with the umpire's call.

Labuschagne looked in such great form but he is gone for 49. Jadeja lured Labuschagne into the drive, but because of that big stretch, he loses his balance. KS Bharat, collectes the ball and does the rest - his first stumping on debut.

The off stump cartwheeled and the reaction on everyone's face was priceless. The ball brushed Warner's pad and sneaked through to rettle the stumps.

Siraj does what he does best - takes wickets in his first over.

Siraj knew it was a wicket and their was a huge appeal from him, but it was not given. It looked like the ball pitched just outside leg or maybe even went down. Siraj wanted the review and skipper Rohit ran to Srikar Bharat for confirmation. 

Ball-tracker showed three reds with ball hitting a good part of leg stump.
