It was a tough day for Indian fans on Sunday and Team India lost in the World Cup final against Australia. The Aussies lifted the cup for the sixth time. Besides the stellar performance by Australia, another glimpse made it to the headlines on Sunday from the stadium. In a major security breach, a Palestinian supporter suddenly entered the field. He wore a mask with Palestine’s flag and his tee shirt bore the caption ‘Free Palestine.’ Besides, they had a rainbow flag in their hand.
After entering the ground, they ran straight towards Virat Kohli. They were seen talking to Virat, placing a hand on the cricketer’s shoulder. That incited lots of discussions in the net world. Now, two Tollywood celebs talked about that Palestinian supporter.
Riddhi Sen and Ritwik Chakraborty – known to be two liberal voices of Tollywood – praised the person. Riddhi said, “The nationalism we need! Well played India, well played Australia!” Ritwik did not comment on India’s defeat. Instead, he wrote, “Whatever happened, happened. It’s alright. Here I keep these two photos.”

The person entered the field through the tight security. He went to Kohli and hugged him. Virat was stunned. The game was stopped at once. Security people came and took the person. It has been questioned how the person deceived the security. But this is not the first time. In the Pakistan versus Bangladesh match in Eden Gardens, Palestinian flags were seen.
