IND vs SL 2023 2nd ODI Highlights: India win by 4 wickets, seal the series 2-0

Kuldeep Yadav hits the ball straight of mid-off. The ball slowly dribbles away to hit the fence. 

India win the series with a 4-wicket victory!

Axar takes the aerial route and perishes as Karunaratne slides to his right from long-off and takes a fine catch.

The 75-run stand has been broken. Hardik Pandya shuffles and goes hard on the cover drive but only manages an outside edge. Kusal Mendis moves to his right to take a safe catch.

Rajitha celebrates as soon as he bowled this one as he knew it struck the pads. Shreyas Iyer reviewed it but umpire's call proved to go against him.

The crowd gets silenced at Eden Gardens after Kohli is Bowled!! 

Kohli is taken aback by the bounce and can only get an inside edge back onto his stumps.

Quick wickets for Sri Lanka. Gill had hit two fours, but on the third ball, played his trademark short arm jab pull. Unfortunately, he picks out the man at short mid-wicket.

Edged & gone and Chamika Karunaratne is pumped. Rohit chased after the ball without any foot movement, only for it to edge towards the keeper.

After a good start, Sri Lanka lost their momentum and were bundled out for 215. Avishka Fernando had struck three successive fours off Siraj but the latter had the last laugh by providing the early breakthrough.

Debutant Nuwanidu Fernando took 11 balls to get off the mark, however, he is the only batter who managed to score big and got his half century. 

Rohit Sharma introduced spin and both the left-arm spinners struck in their respective first overs. 

Dangerman Dasun Shanaka, who scored a ton in the previous game was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav for just 2 runs. Dunith Wellalage did add 32 runs to the board, but it was a little too late and the set batter were back in the pavallion.

Siraj, in the 39 over got two wickets to end Sri Lanka's campign. He first sent back Wellalage (32) and then bowled Kumara for a duck.

Siraj finishes with a three-fer

A bit of extra bounce and the batter fails to keep it down. Axar Patel, at backward point, dives to his left and gobbles it with both hands.

Second or third or fourth time that Umran Malik has dismissed Hasaranga. Hasaranga tried to follow the team's mantra and take on the pacer, but this time he guided it straight to backward point where Axar was standing.

Asalanka chips the ball back to the bowler for a simple catch. He ended up spooning it to Kuldeep Yadav who had a wait a wee bit for the ball to arrive.

The games seems to be slipping out of Sri Lanka's hand as their dependable batter - skipper Dasun Shanaka - was bowled for just 2 runs by spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

The sweep is a good shot to the spinner, but the batter moved far too across the line exposing almost both middle and leg stump,

He just scored a 50 on his debut and saw himself get run-out soon. Fernando first hit the ball in the air but it fell just short of the diving Shubman Gill. 

But Gill was quick and threw the ball to the keeper and the well set Fernando was sfar away and saw his stumps be uprooted.

50 of 62 balls and this is Nuwanidu Fernando's maiden half-century.

They were pretty good against pace, but have lost two quick wickets to spin. Dhananjaya lost balance in his defence. He lunged at the ball, but left a huge bat pad gap which saw the ball hitting his pad and then the stumps.

Kuldeep Yadav bowls an outstanding ball to get rid of a set batter and he breaks the partnership.

Bowled!! Fernando tried the cut shot but he inside edges it onto his stumps. Mohammed Siraj has provided that for them!

One enforced change for India - Chahal in the last game put in a dive and hasn't recovered well, so Kuldeep Yadav comes in.
