Indian 2: Anirudh comes up with a peppy track for the Kamal Haasan-starrer, Shankar in awe; video goes viral

The shooting of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 is happening at a brisk pace and director Shankar is busy with its last leg of production. The latter has been providing regular updates on the much-awaited movie's progress, leaving fans excited. The team headed to a few foreign countries recently to film some crucial episodes.

Though an official announcement on the project is awaited, it is heard that the sequel is likely to arrive in early 2024. An unexpected video from the film's location has now left film buffs thrilled.

Anirudh, who is busy composing music in his caravan, welcomes Shankar with a hug and makes him listen to the peppy track he just made. The veteran filmmaker is impressed with it and gives a green signal. Fans of Anirudh and Kamal are elated with the manner in which the project is shaping up.

Indian 2 marks the second film of Anirudh with Kamal Haasan; the duo teamed up for Vikram last year which became a huge success. Though the composer is at the peak of his career, many are wondering if he would be able to match what AR Rahman came up with in Indian in 1996.

Lyca Productions, which is on a roll now, is bankrolling the project along with Red Giant Movies. They are currently busy with a few movies, including Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 170 and Ajith's Vidaa Muyarchi.
