Indraneil Sengupta is busy promoting his upcoming film, Hatyapuri. The actor will be seen as Satyajit Ray’s iconic sleuth Feluda for the first time in Sandip Ray’s film. While the actor is busy promoting the Feluda film that will be released during Christmas, he is also gearing up for another project. This time, Indramneil will team up with Parno Mittrah in a film directed by Sudeshna Ray and Abhijit Guha. 

In fact, Indraneil and Abhijit worked together in Hatyapuri, in which the latter plays Feluda’s friend, Jatayu. According to sources, the duo decided to work together since then. Produced by Sudeshna and Abhijit, the film will be made by Shadow Films. 

This will be the first time Parnno and Indtraneil will be seen together. According to media reports, the film also has a connection with Rabindranath Tagore. It is said to be loosely influenced by his play, Sheshraksha. A significant part of the film was shot in London. The rest will be shot in Kolkata. 

Parno was last seen in Raj Chakrabarty’s Dharmajuddho. Her next film, Bonobibi, is also set to release. The actress has paired up with Somraj Maity for Sunetra Sundaram. 

Meanwhile, Indraneil Sengupta has made a comeback in Bengali films after a while. Besides Hatyapuri and Seshraksha, the actor will be seen in Bratya Basu’s gangster flick based on real-life gangster, Hubba Shyamal. The actor will play the character of a cop. He has also completed the shooting with Ritwick Chakraborty in a period film, Porichoy Gupta.
