The #Home actor will be seen essaying the role of a psychiatrist in the film, directed by Shabu Usman

Veteran actor Indrans has stepped in to play the role of a psychiatrist in director Shabu Usman’s upcoming psychological thriller titled Louis. Sreenivasan was initially roped into the play the titular role, but had to drop out earlier this month due to health-related reasons.
The movie revolves around Indrans’ character, Dr Louis, and the plot evolves through the various patients who consult with him. Divya Pillai, Manoj K Jayan, Saikumar, Ashokan and Lena are also part of the cast of the film, which addresses mental health issues.
Scripted by Manu Gopal, the film’s shoot is currently on. Divya Pillai plays a teacher in the movie. Her character appears after she takes some of her students who have been showing signs of stress due to the online classes to Dr Louis. The actress is also part of several big upcoming projects including Unni Mukundan’s Shafeekkinte Santosham and Arya’s Amazon Prime web series The Village, which revolves around a family who become prey to a host of mutants.
Indrans, meanwhile, was most recently roped in to star in Resul Pookkutty’s directorial debut tilted Otta, which has Asif Ali and Arjun Ashokan in the lead. The State Award-winner, who was lauded for his performance in last years’ Amazon Prime Video release #Home, is currently shooting for Shafi’s comedy entertainer, which has Sharafudheen and Anagha Narayanan as part of the cast. The movie, which revolves around a father-in-law and a son-in-law, is scripted by M Sindhuraj.
The veteran actor recently wrapped up shooting for a Basil Joseph and Dileesh Pothan-starrer, which is helmed by Sangeeth P Rajan. He is also part of director Sagar’s Kanakarajyam, which is based on a real-life incident. The movie, which also has Murali Gopy in the lead, has Indrans playing a security guard. Indrans’ next release will be the home-invasion thriller Udal.
