The third season of Industry is all set to make its way to OTT in August in India. The drama series, which has an ensemble cast, will release its episode weekly on JioCinema beginning August 12, 2024. In this series, a group of fresh college graduates compete for full-time jobs at the London financial firm Pierpoint & Co., produced by Konrad Kay and Mickey Down.
Industry stars Myha'la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, and Ken Leung in its third season, and HBO dropped a trailer for it. The teaser teases a number of plot points, including a possible blooming relationship between Kit Harington's Sir Henry Muck and Abela's Yasmin.
In season three, Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) take center stage in the dramatic IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company under Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), a narrative that reaches the pinnacles of finance, media, and government. After departing Pierpoint, Harper's (Myha'la) desire to re-experience the intoxicating thrill of finance leads her to an unexpected ally in Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at FutureDawn (Sarah Goldberg).
Check out the trailer below:
Andrew Havill plays Lord Norton; Fiona Button plays Denise Oldroyd; Fady Elsayed plays Ali El Mansour; Roger Barclay plays Otto Mostyn; Miriam Petche plays Sweetpea Golightly; Goldberg, known for her role in Game of Thrones, and Andrew Havill are all new cast members.
For the uninitiated, Industry follows a group of young bankers as they navigate the fast-paced, high-stakes world of international bank Pierpoint & Co.'s London headquarters, where sex and drugs fuel an intense blitz. The show offers an inside look at the mysterious world of high finance.
In Season 3, Pierpoint's bold ethical investment gamble thrusts Yasmin, Robert, and Eric into the spotlight for Lumi's spectacular initial public offering (IPO), an eco-friendly energy technology business. Harper has been missing the exhilarating world of finance ever since she left Pierpoint, and she finds an unexpected ally in Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at FutureDawn.
The show was produced by Bad Wolf for both HBO and BBC. Directors include Isabella Eklöf and Zoé Wittock; executive producers include Bad Wolf's Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen; and creators, writers, and producers include Mickey Down and Konrad Kay.
