Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans have not been able to get over the fact that Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man is no longer a part of the franchise. The makers have thus introduced Ironheart, featuring Dominique Thorne in the lead role. Fans have reacted strongly to the matter, for they are seeing striking resemblance to another character - Dr. Strange - too. Here's everything being said...
While most fans really do not understand the reason behind introducing Ironheart as Iron Man meets Dr. Strange, others have more than welcomed the idea. They are looking at tech-meets-magic, and feel it is high time MCU used the concept.
As for Dominique Thorne herself, she said, "Get on the bandwagon. It's here, we're here." She plays the lead role of Riri Williams in the series.
The recent behind-the-scenes video released by the makers has confirmed who would play Ezekiel Stane in the franchise. Alden Ehrenreich is confirmed to play the role.
Ironheart, touted as Wakanda Forever spin-off, is slated to release on OTT on June 24. The series would be out on JioHotstar and would premiere with three episodes releasing on premiere day, and it then being a weekly release for the 6-episode series. The series is the last in phase 5 of MCU.
Other TV series format from the Universe include WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…? Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, She Hulk: Attorney At Law, Secret Invasion, Echo, Agatha All Along, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man and Daredevil Born Again. The only TV series from the list to get a new season out of them is Loki.
Phase 6 would commence with Eyes of Wakanda, and continue with Marvel Zombies, Wonder Man, Vision Quest and the second seasons of Daredevil and Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.
