There's some bad news in store for fans of Tamannaah Bhatia. Multiple reports suggest that she may no longer be able to continue as the host of MasterChef Telugu, all thanks to her packed calendar. Despite not being a native Telugu speaker, the actress has done a remarkable job in grasping the nuances of the language quickly and looked at ease while spontaneously conversing in Telugu with the contestants and chefs in her very first small-screen stint as the host of MasterChef. Now, popular actress, television anchor Anasuya has been roped in her place for the show.
Anasuya is, without doubt, a good choice as a replacement for MasterChef, because of her Telugu roots and considerable experience in hosting some of the biggest shows across multiple Telugu channels. Anasuya's main challenge would be to develop a rapport with the contestants of the show bang in the middle of a season. It'll be interesting to see if the viewership of the show will get affected as a result. Tamannaah certainly could grab eyeballs for all the stardom she enjoyed and it'll certainly demand a lot from Anasuya to give it her spin and win over audiences.
Some reports also hint that Tamannaah may appear for the semi-final and final episodes of the show, though nothing about this is official yet. Recovering from a shaky start, she has singlehandedly brought some momentum to MasterChef Telugu. Tamannaah has also reportedly allocated bulk dates for the shoot of F3, the sequel of F2: Fun and Frustration, that also stars Varun Tej, Venkatesh, Mehreen Pirzada, Sunil and Vennela Kishore in lead roles. Her recent release was Maestro with Nithiin, Nabha Natesh (that released on Disney+ Hotstar) and Seetimarr, a Kabaddi based sports drama alongside Gopichand.
