Dhurandhar: The Revenge has taken the box office by storm, turning into a massive blockbuster in record time. Amid the blockbuster success, fans have been demanding Dhurandhar 3 and casting director Mukesh Chhabra has reacted to the rumors.
The sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, arrived in theatres on March 19 and quickly became a talking point. Soon after its release, an unverified clip claiming to reveal the end-credits slate of Dhurandhar Part 3: The Mayhem began circulating widely on social media, even hinting at a June release.
Although the clip was later confirmed to be fake, it still managed to generate significant buzz, with many fans initially mistaking it for an official confirmation of a third instalment.
In an interview with Zoom, casting director Mukesh Chhabra reacted to the rumors and said, “Aisa kuch nahi hone wala. Bahut sare rumours hai (Nothing like that is going to happen. There are a lot of rumours).” The casting director also said that if there are any rumors that need to be answered, he will respond to them on social media platform X (Twitter).
Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026) is an action-thriller directed by Aditya Dhar, following undercover RAW agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), aka Hamza Ali Mazari, as he dominates Karachi’s Lyari underworld. After the events of Dhurandhar (2025), Hamza navigates gang wars, ISI operatives, and personal vendettas in this highly violent saga.
The film delves into Jaskirat's past in 2000, revealing a brutal land dispute that destroyed his family, setting up his motivation for vengeance. Following his training, he is tasked by intelligence officers (played by R. Madhavan) with infiltrating Pakistan's criminal nexus, operating from Kabul to the Lyari district of Karachi.
