Pooja Hegde is one of the top stars in Telugu cinema. After the success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Pooja Hegde was the most wanted heroine in Telugu and Tamil cinema. But sadly, back-to-back flops in Radhe Shyam, Most Eligible Bachelor, Beast, Acharya, Cirkus, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan pinned her back in her career.
The sad part is that Pooja Hegde does not have a single film down south. During the beginning of 2023, Pooja Hegde was roped in as the female lead in Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram. She was supposed to join the sets and was also locked into receiving Rs 4 crore as her fee.

But at the last moment, Trivikram changed the story and altered Pooja's role. This did not go well with Pooja and she walked out of the film. Her loss was Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary's gain, who are now the female leads in the Mahesh Babu starrer, which will be out on January 12, 2023.
Sadly for Pooja, it looks like the end of the road, as not many directors are choosing her for their films. There are two reasons for this. One is that Pooja is apparently past her prime and charges a bomb. Also, young heroines like Sreeleela have dominated the show and charge half of what Pooja does.
But one must understand that the depth Pooja brings to the films with her glamour and performance is something else. She has a massive fan following but is sadly out of form.
The case is the same in Hindi films as well. There is news that Pooja is in talks to romance Ravi Teja and Sai Dharam Tej in their upcoming projects. Although there is no confirmation, Pooja needs one hit under her belt to be back with a bang.
