While Ranveer Singh's film is all set to be released on OTT after an amazing theatrical release, fans are gearing up for Dhurandhar Part 2, which will hit cinemas on March 19, 2026. In a new interview, Sara Arjun opened up about what to expect from Dhurandhar Part 2.
What does Sara Arjun say about Dhurandhar Part 2?
Speaking to NDTV, Sara Arjun, who played Yalina Jamali in Dhurandhar, opened up about Dhurandhar Part 2. She said, "The audiences have high expectations already after part one, but you can just expect a lot more of everything that you loved already in part one, be it action, be it the story, everything. There's a lot more of all that coming in part two."

The 20-year-old actress played Yalina Jamali, the rebellious daughter of a Pakistani politician (played by Rakesh Bedi), who becomes entangled with Ranveer Singh's character, providing him with crucial information for his undercover mission. His role is crucial, serving as the lover and main source of intelligence in the spy thriller.
""I really like how she just thinks with her heart. This is a girl who is very strong, and at the same time, she is so smitten, and she is following her heart. You will see Yalina's true strength... The actual scope of my character is in part two, mostly... We had a lot of discussion initially, before starting on," she said.
Sara said that they kept throwing ideas on how Yalina would be as a person and wanted to show that she's a very happy and bright soul, and then, eventually, the course that follows and her journey through the film, the pain will be more justified later on.
"In general, Yalina is a bit similar to who I am. So, I held on to those (similarities)... Ideally, all characters should matter to the story and not be just a prop. I look at that as their minimum, to be honest," Sara described.
About Dhurandhar 2 teaser
Meanwhile, the Dhurandhar 2 teaser is expected to be screened with Border 2 when Border 2 hits theatres on January 23, 2026. Bollywood Hungama reported, "The idea is to replug the release date in the minds of cinema-going audiences. Dhurandhar 2 is confirmed for an Eid 2026 release. The teaser will re-establish the date with some newer visuals."
The source also revealed that the teaser, reworked from the end-credits of the first instalment, will make its digital debut after being showcased exclusively in theatres.
