We had earlier reported that Kannada director Hemanth M Rao will be directing veteran actor Shivarajkumar for a film titled Bhairavana Kone Paata. The first look posters were released last year. However, there have been speculations that the project has been shelved. Addressing these rumours, Hemanth took to social media to give a clarity on what is the status of the project.

Director Hemanth M Rao, who shot to fame with his duology film Sapta Saagaradaache Ello, announced his next film with Shivarajkumar. Titled Bhairavana Kone Paata, the film's first look was received with good reception. However, off late there has been rumours that the project is not happening anymore.

Taking to social media to address the issue, Hemanth dismissed them as fake news. He also penned a long note on how the film is "extremely demanding" due to its scale and size. He added, "In the little time I've had the pleasure of getting to know Shivanna, his commitment and work ethic is from another era, he will run himself to the ground if it means it will get people more joy. He always, always does his best, its upto us - makers to capture that raw energy and more importantly, to ensure that he is comfortable in this entire process."

Addressing that Shivarajkumar has just won his battle against cancer and needs time to recuperate and recover, Hemanth said that the team is giving him the necessary time to heal.

The director ended his post, "I cannot put into words the excitement that we have for #BKP. We are going to make it happen. To quote a line that Bhairava says in the movie - The patient warrior knows that the greatest victories are won in the silence of the mind.”

The film is produced by Dr Vaishak J Gowda, under his banner VJF - Vaishak J Films. The first look poster showed Shivarajkumar as a seasoned warrior, with armour and arrows. A release date for the film is yet to be announced. It will release in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.
