Is the Salman Khan-Arijit Singh feud over? A surprise meeting at the superstar's residence raises eyebrows

After nine years, actor Salman Khan appears to have forgiven Arijit Singh. In the wee hours of Wednesday night, the singer was seen leaving the superstar's Galaxy Aparments. As soon as the video went viral, fans began wondering if the two had reconciled after an almost ten-year feud.

Fans speculate reconcialation:

A Salman Khan fan uploaded the video to X. The viewer who posted the video explained that it depicted Arijit Singh being spotted at Salman Khan's house today. Another user questioned whether the meeting was for a musical collaboration in Tiger 3 or Salman's untitled film with Vishnuvardhan and Karan Johar.

Background on the nine-year feud:

For the uninitiated, in 2014, at an awards ceremony, Salman Khan and Arijit Singh got into a nasty altercation. When the singer stepped out to accept the award, the superstar, who was hosting the event, introduced him. To the casually dressed Arijit, Salman asked in Hindi, "Are you the winner?". The singer responded, "Aap logon ne sula diya." After this incident, many of Arijit's songs from Salman's films, including Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick, and Sultan, were taken out immediately.

Arijit's public apology:

In 2016, Arijit publicly apologised to Salman for insisting that the film use another version of the song. The singer said in his open letter that he had apologised to Salman via text and mail multiple times, but to no avail. He said in response to Sultan's song that the superstar was wrong to think that he offended him. Arijit has sang enough songs; however, he would like to go out on his own terms with at least one of Salman's songs in his collection and ensure that this emotion is not removed.

The Tum Kya Mile singer also added that there just wasn't the right moment or energy for the show that night. Nonetheless, Salman experienced an insult, and Arijit got it, and it hurt him deeply because his family and he have been admirers of the superstar for many years. So many times, the singer tried to explain, but one just didn't understand. He tried to say sorry, but Salman didn't hear him. Arijit also revealed that he sent many text messages of regret to the Tiger 3 star. The singer also tried to apologise in person, but Salman didn't catch the message.
