Vishal's forthcoming project Laththi was in the news multiple times. The first time the film hit the headlines was when the actor got injured during the shooting of an action sequence which was helmed by Peter Hein. He had taken to social media to update about the treatment he underwent, and later joined back the crew after a while.

Now, an elated Vishal has taken to Twitter to inform his fans and other film buffs that Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose music for the movie which has been directed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar.

Yuvan was the music director for several films of Vishal, including the latter's last outing, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (streaming on Zee5). He tweeted, "Elated to have our lovely combo back for the #12th time in my career. Welcoming our little maestro n my good friend @thisisysr on-board for #Laththi (sic)."

Sunainaa plays the female lead in the film which has Srikanth NB as its editor and Balasubramaniem along with Balakrishna Thota handling cinematography. Pon Parthiban has written dialogues for the movie which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

Actors Ramana and Nandaa have produced Laththi under Rana Productions, the shooting of which commenced last year. A motion poster of the project was unveiled by the makers several months ago. Vishal plays a police constable in the film which will hit the screens later this year.

Laththi is Vishal's fourth project in the pandemic era, after Chakra, Enemy and Veeramae Vaagai Soodum. The actor-producer currently has Thupparivalan 2 and Mark Antony in his kitty. He is making his directorial debut with the former.
