Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo: Mimi Chakraborty and Tota Roychowdhury’s trailer promises an intriguing courtroom drama

Mimi Chakraborty is all set to debut on OTT. She will be seen as a lawyer, Pritha Roy, in Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo. Tota Roy Chowdhury plays another lawyer who fights a case opposite her. The trailer of the series has come out. This is one of the big projects of Hoichoi Season 7. The trailer promises a high-octane courtroom drama over an important case in the city.

The story deals with an incident that happened on December 31, 2007. Both the criminal and the victim are cops. The trailer says that it is based on a true story. The story deals with the attack on IC Tapas Saha. The incident shakes the city. The character of Pritha Roy – a fresh law graduate – fights the case for the victim and becomes active in punishing the criminal. Veteran advocate Joyraj Singha, played by Tota, is the defense lawyer. It remains to see whether young Pritha can defeat the veteran Joyraj.

The series Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo, directed by Chandrasish Roy, will be released in January. Mimi and Tota will share the screen for the first time. 

Hoichoi released the trailer and wrote, “If the queen gets sidelined in chess, does she give up?” 

Mimi was last seen in the movie Raktabeej alongside Abir Chatterjee. Tota has started working with Hoichoi as Feluda in Srijit Mukherji’s Feludar Goyendagiri. He plays an important character in Ayan Chakraborti’s Nikhoj with Swastika Mukherjee. He has been shutting between Mumbai and Kolkata with several projects. His acting and dancing in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kaahani captivated the audience.
